Bismarck-Mandan UCC

Bismarck, ND

Bismarck-Mandan United Church of Christ in Bismarck opened its doors in 1954 with the primary commitment to live out our faith in the community and world in ways that bear faithful witness to God's love in Christ. We have an active and welcoming church family with a growing passion for ecumenical and interfaith work. One of our goals has been to promote healthy relationships among the diversity within Bismarck through ecumenical worship services, interfaith potlucks and service projects, work with Charles Hall Youth Services and Lutheran Social Services, and a Cultural Competency Training that is in the works.

On Sundays at 10am we worship together and throughout the week our church hosts game nights, knitting and quilting groups, youth and adult faith education classes, and a no-questions-asked emergency food pantry known as Jack's Food Pantry.  During the Lenten season we have been enjoying soup suppers and Wednesday worship services. As part of our commitment to serve the local community, we open our church building to local non-profit groups that range from Tai Chi classes to a Nurturing Parenting Class.  There is never a day of the week when the church building isn't in use.
